Lachlan Hill

Lachlan Hill is currently the Global Internal Communications Manager at Avalara, where they write and edit internal communications for over 5,000 employees in 11 countries. Previously, Lachlan held various roles at Avalara, contributing to internal communications strategy and winning the Avalara Impact Award in 2021. Before joining Avalara, Lachlan worked as a Communications Coordinator at Microsoft Retail Stores and gained experience as an Investigative Director and News Editor for The Whitman Wire, where they developed a successful investigative journalism team. Lachlan earned a Bachelor’s Degree with Honors in Psychology from Whitman College, graduating with a 3.89 GPA.
