Matthew MacNeil

Matthew MacNeil is an accomplished business professional with extensive experience in the brewing and tax compliance industries. Currently serving as the owner of Clouds Brewing LLC dba The Storm Cellar since July 2024 and as owner of Storm Clouds Brewing, LLC since December 2013, Matthew has played a significant role in the craft brewing sector in North Carolina. Additionally, Matthew holds the position of Director of Solutions Engineering at Avalara since February 2013, focusing on customer-specific software solutions for sales tax exemption. Prior to this, Matthew was Vice President at Tax Technology Services, LLC, where expertise in sales tax compliance was developed, and held key financial roles at ePhysician, Inc. and Methode Electronics. Matthew earned an MBA in Information Systems and Accounting from Tulane University and a BS in Accounting from Purdue University.
