Nathan Simmons

Nathan Simmons is an experienced Information Technology professional with a strong background in security management and systems administration. Currently serving as the Information Technology Security Manager at Avalara since June 2023, Nathan previously held various roles at Businessolver, including Tech Manager for Security and Helpdesk from August 2021 to June 2023. Prior experience includes significant positions at DealerSocket, where Nathan progressed from Sr. IT Administrator to Director of Internal IT from October 2015 to August 2021, and IT Systems Administrator at Tenex Health from February 2014 to October 2015. Nathan began a career in IT with Routh Crabtree Olsen - RCOLegal as a System Administrator from June 2010 to February 2014, building a strong foundation that included managing servers, maintaining firewalls, and contributing to storage and backup data center projects. Education was completed at Biola University.
