Ben Thompson has worked in the healthcare industry for many years. Ben started their career at Cardinal Health in 2000, where they held various roles such as V. Mueller Region Manager and Region Director. Ben later became the Regional Vice President of Sales. In 2009, they were promoted to National Vice President, Independent Laboratories, and eventually became the National Vice President of Sales, Scientific Products. In 2017, they became the Vice President of Strategic Accounts before being promoted to Senior Vice President of US Acute Sales in 2018. Ben left Cardinal Health in 2021 and joined Avalign Technologies in 2022 as the Chief Commercial Officer.
Ben Thompson has a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Ben has also obtained additional certifications, including Executive Leadership Development from Korn Ferry in May 2021, Partners Leading Change - Advancing Gender Diversity from the Institute for Gender Partnership in 2013, and INSPIRE Leadership Development from Duke University in September 2012.
