Ace Begu

Ace Begu, MSW, currently serves as Sales Manager at Avalon Flooring USA, where responsibilities include moderating the Avalon for All Committee, focused on implementing DEI&B principles within the company. Academic pursuits at Rutgers School of Social Work are underway, with a specialization in Management and Policy, alongside internships and roles promoting social justice. Notable contributions include co-founding SOFRA, an organization supporting the Albanian LGBTQ+ diaspora, and involvement in research regarding the experiences of Black women in relation to policing and sex work. Former educational achievements include a Bachelor's degree in History from Rutgers University–New Brunswick and an Associate of Arts in Psychology from Middlesex College.
