Tim Smith

Tim Smith is currently the Director of Asset Management at AvalonBay Communities, where they oversee asset management strategies for the company. Previously, Tim served as a Senior Asset Manager at S2 Capital, LLC, and held various roles including AVP of Portfolio Management at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Credit Underwriter at Triumph Commercial Finance. Tim has a strong background in finance and asset management, with experience leading business development efforts at GE Capital and contributing to significant projects within the Urban Land Institute's Mixed-Use Council. They earned both a Bachelor of Arts from Baylor University and an MBA from the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business.
