Chris Brooker is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and team management. Currently serving as the Engineering & Delivery | Cloud Transformation & App Modernization Leader at Avanade since September 2017, Chris has successfully led large-scale software engineering initiatives and managed teams of over 100 engineers across multiple locations. Previously, Chris held roles such as the Southwest Region Software Engineering Talent Community Lead, growing the department by 10%, and the Houston Innovation Studio Engineering Lead, overseeing a team of 35 engineers. Prior to joining Avanade, Chris served as Development Manager at Infusion, where the engineering team was led throughout a successful acquisition. Chris also founded Epilogger Inc. as President and CTO, creating innovative tools for event organizers. Chris's career includes positions at companies such as Empathica, DSM Computing Solutions Inc., N5R, Microdea Inc, and HomeBank Technologies Inc. Chris's foundational education was completed at Mohawk College from 1998 to 1999.
