Doug McKinney is an accomplished Network Architect and Group Manager with extensive experience in network engineering and management. Since December 2012, Doug has led the Network Engineering Team at Avanade, driving architectural direction, developing engineering standards, and providing thought leadership for cloud application migrations. Prior to Avanade, Doug served as a Senior Network Engineer at Microsoft, overseeing an international backbone network for over 13,000 nodes. Doug's earlier roles include Network Architect at USWest Communications, where responsibilities included the TCP/IP messaging network's technical direction, and Network Infrastructure Supervisor at Virginia Mason Medical Center, where Doug managed a large-scale Ethernet network. Doug holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University.
