Doug Vanderweide

Doug Vanderweide is a seasoned professional in cloud architecture and information technology with extensive experience spanning various industries, including finance, government, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, transportation, and energy. Currently serving as Director of Cloud Architecture at Avanade since February 2021, Doug focuses on cloud governance, cost management, strategy, operating models, and architecture for medium to large organizations. Prior to this role, Doug held multiple positions at 10th Magnitude, now part of Cognizant Microsoft Business Group, including Director of Information Technology, where responsibilities included overseeing customer onboarding to Azure Expert Managed Services, and Manager of Presales Solution Architecture, managing the presales solution architecture team. Doug also worked as an Azure Instructor/Subject Matter Expert at Linux Academy, where instructional programs for Azure technologies were developed, and as Solutions Architect/Senior Software Developer at MaineToday Media, contributing to custom software solutions. Doug Vanderweide holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Maine.
