Fergus Kidd

Fergus Kidd is an experienced professional in the field of engineering and machine learning, currently serving as the R&D Engineering Lead at Avanade since January 2018. In this role, Fergus has focused on developing innovative machine learning and cognitive service solutions within the Azure cloud, contributing to AI and analytics capabilities. Prior to Avanade, Fergus worked as a Research Engineer at Thales Alenia Space, creating predictive maintenance solutions for communication satellites, and held various positions at Thales, including Research and Development Engineer and Technical Directorate Coordinator, where responsibilities included data engineering and building predictive models for complex transport systems. Fergus holds a Master of Science in Space Science and Engineering from UCL and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Bristol.
