John Banks is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in cloud services and enterprise systems architecture. Currently serving as Sr. Director for US Azure and Infrastructure at Avanade since November 2012, John is instrumental in guiding strategic initiatives across the South Region, focusing on Microsoft Azure Platform services and optimizing clients’ cloud transitions. Prior to Avanade, John held various managerial roles at NAUI, including Board Vice Chairman and Regional Manager, demonstrating a commitment to training and supporting dive instructors across the South Central US. Additional experience includes senior technology roles at Epsilon and JP Morgan Chase, where John successfully managed high-performance teams and developed advanced technical solutions. John holds educational qualifications from Georgia College & State University.
