Gil Friedrich

Gil Friedrich is currently the CEO at Avanan, a position they have held since August 2014. Prior to this, they were the CEO and Co-Founder of Avanan (acquired by Check Point), which they held from August 2014 to August 2021. Before that, they were the VP Technology at ForeScout Technologies from November 2000 to December 2014, responsible for defining the technological vision, for exploring new markets and for maintaining the company’s competitive advantage in its existing markets. From January 1994 to December 2000, they served as a team leader in the Israeli Navy, leading a team of 8 engineers focused on networking and communication in a variety of technologies.
