Matej Hála is an R&D Project Leader with extensive experience in managing international research teams and developing innovative technologies in the solar industry. Previously, Matej served as a research associate at the Laboratory for Photovoltaics, where they led an industrial project with TDK and contributed to multiple high-impact publications and patent applications. They later held roles at AVANCIS GmbH, focusing on the scale-up of CIGS solar module production and optimization processes. In addition to their research career, Matej currently works as a pro bono Life Coach for the Czech charitable organization "Růžová mašinka," supporting NGO workers in managing stress and burnout. Matej earned a Ph.D. from the Université de Montréal and a master's degree from Brno University of Technology.
