Peter Borowski

Peter Borowski is currently the Director of R&D at Avancis GmbH, a position they have held since 2025. They previously worked as an Engineer in Photovoltaic Systems at Avancis GmbH from 2010 to 2014, and held roles at the University of British Columbia as a Postdoctoral Researcher from 2006 to 2009 and at the Center for Theoretical Physics, Polish Academy of Science as a Research Associate from 2002 to 2003. Peter earned a Dr.rer.nat in Physics from Max-Planck-Institut für die Physik komplexer Systeme/TU Dresden between 2003 and 2006, and completed a Dipl.phys. in Physics at Universität Stuttgart from 1996 to 2002. They also had a brief experience as a Visiting Researcher at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in 2009.
