John O’Neil

John O’Neil is currently the SVP and Head of People & Organization at Avangrid, having previously served as VP of HR Performance and Governance from 2015 to 2024. With extensive experience in the global utilities industry, John has held leadership roles in corporate finance and HR, as well as business leadership positions in power generation. John completed a Master of Business Administration with Distinction from Strathclyde Business School and is an associate member of both the Chartered Governance Institute and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Additionally, John is enrolled in various leadership development programs at IMD Business School and Esade.
