Al Carbone

Al Carbone is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in government relations, public relations, and education. Currently serving as Director of State Government and Community Relations for AVANGRID, Inc., Al Carbone develops and executes legislative priorities to foster positive political outcomes for the company's utility operations in Connecticut. In addition to this role, Al Carbone has been an Adjunct Professor at the University of New Haven since 2005, teaching courses in marketing and sports management. Also, Al Carbone acts as Commissioner for the Southern Connecticut Conference, managing public relations and strategic development for a 23-member high school league. As Publicity Director for the Walter Camp Football Foundation, Al Carbone leads communication strategies for the recognition of top college football players. Previous roles include Senior Communications Specialist at The United Illuminating Company and Assistant Athletic Director at Quinnipiac University. Al Carbone holds a BA in Political Science from Trinity College and an MBA in Business Administration-Sports Management from the University of New Haven.
