Cameron Schilling is the Director of Federal Government Affairs at Avangrid, a position held since 2025. Previously, Cameron served as VP of Market Strategies and Regulatory Affairs at the National Hydropower Association from 2020 to 2022, and held roles as a Legislative Advisor in the Illinois Governor's Office from 2009 to 2012 and as Policy Advisor at the Illinois Commerce Commission from 2012 to 2015. Prior to these experiences, Cameron was a Paul Simon Fellow in the Lt. Governor's Office from 2007 to 2009 and worked in External Affairs at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission from 2015 to 2020. Cameron earned a Master of Public Administration from the University of Illinois Springfield and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Eastern Illinois University.
