John Norman

John Norman is currently the Senior Director of Insurance at Avangrid, a position held since 2025, after serving as Director of Insurance and Risk from 2016 to 2025. Prior to that, John managed insurance and claims at Iberdrola USA Networks from 2003 to 2021 and held the role of Manager of Risk Management and Insurance at Central Maine Power Company from 1998 to 2003. Additionally, John served as a Commissioner at the Maine Human Rights Commission from 2014 to 2017. John holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Southern Maine and multiple advanced degrees in business from Husson University.
