Rick Piazza

Rick Piazza is the BU Controller for Power Operations at Iberdrola Renewables, a role held since 2003, where they oversee the accounting and reporting of financial results for Thermal Operations and Power Trading. Previously, they served as Accounting Projects Manager at TXU Energy from 2001 to 2003, focusing on derivative accounting and hedge strategies. Earlier in their career, Rick worked at PacifiCorp as a Risk Management/Business Analyst from 1997 to 2001, developing risk policies and procedures for energy trading. Rick earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Oregon State University from 1984 to 1988.
