Frances Bach

Frances Bach has a diverse work experience in the fields of medical research and academia. In 2009, they worked as a Student Assistant at Universiteit Utrecht and later participated in the Honours Program, focusing on the effect of PTHrP on chondrocyte sensitivity to 1,25(OH)2D3. From 2013 to 2018, Frances pursued a PhD at Utrecht University, where they researched innovative treatments for intervertebral disc regeneration using growth factor-like proteins and juvenile disc cells. Frances'sPhD thesis provided a proof-of-concept for these treatments and became the basis for the iPSpine Horizon 2020 project.
