Liz Munro

Liz Munro is a medical device development expert with over 15 years of experience in innovative medical technology. Currently, they serve as a fractional executive and product development and regulatory advisor to several MedTech startups, as well as a Principal Consultant at Avania and a MedTech Growth Coach at Communitech. Previously, Liz held the position of Vice President of Regulatory and Advisory Services at Avania and was the Chief Operating Officer of Ironstone Product Development, which was acquired by Avania in 2023. As the co-founder of Perimeter Medical Imaging AI, they successfully built the device development program, achieving FDA clearance for four products and a robust market presence. Liz holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics from McGill University and a Master of Applied Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
