James Hollis is the Chief Executive Officer of AvanStrate, a Vedanta Group company, starting in July 2025. With over 30 years of experience at Corning Incorporated, James served as Division Vice President, overseeing the commercial and technical aspects of Corning® Gorilla® Glass and leading teams that engaged with over 200 global customers. A notable leader in new business development, key account management, and P&L oversight, James is dedicated to solving complex challenges and committed to continuous improvement. After retiring from Corning in July 2023, James furthered his education by studying Mandarin at National Taiwan Normal University’s Mandarin Training Center. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Distribution from Western Carolina University.
