Claudius Mueller

Director, Bioinformatics at Avant Diagnostics

Claudius Mueller is the Director of Bioinformatics at Theralink Technologies. He served as a consultant to the company since 2018 before joining in his current position in August 2021. Claudius earned is Diploma in Biochemistry from the Freie Universität Berlin, Germany, and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Loma Linda University, USA.

Claudius worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow, Research Assistant Professor, and Research Associate Professor at George Mason University (GMU) within the Center for Applied Proteomics and Molecular Medicine under the leadership of Drs. Lance Liotta and Chip Petricoin.

During his career, Claudius authored more than 40 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. He developed software for RPPA, Mass Spectrometry, ELISA, and PCR data analysis for GMU and international research groups. Claudius also created a Covid data processing App that was used within the university’s CAP/CLIA accredited Clinical Proteomics laboratory to analyze more than 50,000 Covid samples during Covid screening.

His research interests include tumor clonal heterogeneity, cancer cell signal transduction, Alzheimer’s disease, and the preservation of labile tissue biomarkers.
