Kapenda, has over 15 years as a technology executive. He started his career in software development at Microsoft working in Windows NT and Systems Management Server. He then went on and founded his first startup Jookster, in 2005. The first of its kind social search engine. In 2005, Jookster was selected by Dow-Jones Venture Wire as one of the top 50 early stage tech companies in the nation. Jookster was acquired in 2007.
