Cihan Baskir

Cihan Baskir is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the maritime and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as the Group Manager for Pharmaceutical Hardware Systems and Global Manager for Pharmaceutical SU Engineering & Projects at Avantor since June 2021, Cihan has demonstrated leadership and expertise in managing complex engineering projects. Prior to Avantor, Cihan held roles such as Technical Specialist at Damen Yachting and Owner/Project Manager/Mechanical Engineer at HCB Consulting Project Management & Engineering Services. Cihan's earlier career includes key positions at Sirena Marine Denizcilik San ve Tic AS, Hexagon Studio, Numarine Performance Yachts, and Arcelik Group, showcasing a strong foundation in engineering and project management. Cihan earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University between 2002 and 2006 and completed secondary education at Karşıyaka Anadolu Lisesi from 1995 to 2002.
