John Cuff

John Cuff is a seasoned professional in the scientific and laboratory services field with extensive experience. Currently serving as the Laboratory Service Lead at Avantor since October 2025, John previously held the role of Scientific Equipment Coordinator/Planner at PerkinElmer from May 2024 to October 2025, facilitating communication between clients and laboratory support teams while managing equipment maintenance and compliance. Prior to that, John spent over three decades at AstraZeneca in various roles, culminating as a Senior Scientist in Compound Management, where responsibility included overseeing the supply chain for research compounds and leading innovative projects with external partners. John holds a City and Guilds Level 2 qualification in Cycle Mechanics from BikeRight, an HND in Chemistry from De Montfort University, and an OND in Chemistry from Runshaw College.
