Aakash Parekh

Aakash Parekh is the General Counsel and Secretary of SparkCognition. In this role, he oversees global legal affairs for SparkCognition and its subsidiary companies. Parekh’s responsibilities include corporate governance, legal compliance, IP strategy, M&A, litigation, corporate financing, public company readiness, and more. Prior to joining SparkCognition, Parekh spent over a decade in private legal practice, where the IP assets he authored, licensed, or litigated generated hundreds of millions of dollars for his clients.

Parekh holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from The University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Texas School of Law.
