Christopher Sharp

Christopher Sharp is an accomplished security professional with extensive experience across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Senior Regional Security Manager at Avaya since June 2019, Christopher leads security initiatives for Europe and oversees global investigations. As a Business Risk Manager at Verizon since August 2013, Christopher has pioneered third-party business risk and compliance, focusing on anti-bribery, corruption, and international sanctions. Prior to Verizon, Christopher was the Lead Investigator for EMEA at Research in Motion, responsible for non-IT security and comprehensive investigations. With a foundation in security management at BT from 2006 to 2010, Christopher specialized in fraud investigation and third-party compliance, and previously served as the Head of Investigation for the Midlands at the Security Industry Authority, contributing to policy development and enforcement initiatives.
