Inflight Operations Manager at Avelo Airlines

Tom Creatore has over 20 years of experience in the airline industry, education, and manufacturing. In 2001, they began their career as an Operations Manager at Midget Louver Co, where they oversaw daily operations for a $2M manufacturing business specializing in aluminum air vents and louvers. In 2005, they became a K-5 Elementary School Teacher at Saint Ann Catholic School, where they were awarded the 2009 Walmart Teacher of the Year Award. In 2011, Tom joined JetBlue as an Inflight Instructor and Team Lead Manager. Tom was subsequently promoted to Inflight Crewmember and secured two (2) promotions and 25+ customer recognition letters. In 2014, Tom co-founded a Peer Support Program at Delta Air Lines, where they hired 100+ volunteers and coordinated a six (6) week training program to help the volunteers address issues with 20,000 flight attendants. In 2022, Tom was appointed as an Inflight Operations Base Manager at Avelo Airlines. Tom developed and implemented an onboarding process which resulted in reducing turnover by 75%. Tom also led all operations of New Haven, CT, and Orlando, FL, with 110 flight attendants to maintain process efficiency.

Tom Creatore graduated from New York University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. Tom then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Bridgeport in 2013.
