Davi Costa

Davi Costa has a strong background in software engineering, with experience at various companies. Davi is currently working as a Software Engineer at Aven, starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Uber from 2016 to 2021, holding roles as a Software Engineering Manager - Safety and a Senior Software Engineer in both safety and financial products teams. At Uber, they were responsible for designing and delivering efficient systems, interviewing, providing mentorship, and influencing the long term road map and engineering excellence goals. Before Uber, Davi worked at Facebook from 2013 to 2016 as a Software Engineer in the Search team. Davi also had earlier experiences at Facebook, starting as a Software Engineer Intern in the Search team in 2012 and as a Software Engineering Intern in the Ads API team in 2011. In 2009, they interned as a Software Engineer at Odysci, focusing on software development for the website.

Davi Costa completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas from 2007 to 2011. Following that, they pursued their Master of Engineering degree in Communication Systems Engineering from Télecom Paris, which they completed between 2010 and 2012.
