Nathan Catchpole

Nathan Catchpole currently serves as Lead Counsel at Rippling since January 2023. Previously, Nathan worked at Opendoor from December 2019 to November 2022, holding roles as Senior Associate General Counsel -- Head of Regulatory and Associate General Counsel - Product, where responsibilities included leading regulatory efforts, advising on regulatory risk, and managing the intellectual property portfolio. Nathan's prior experience includes serving as Deputy General Counsel at Cascade Financial Services, Associate General Counsel at Clayton Homes, and Associate at Ballard Spahr LLP, focusing on mortgage lending, litigation, and regulatory advising. Nathan also gained valuable experience as a Judicial Law Clerk at the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States District Court--District of Delaware, and as a Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development. Nathan holds a J.D. from BYU Law School, an MPA from Brigham Young University, and a BS in Business from Oregon State University.
