Julia Huffziger

Julia Huffziger has extensive work experience in quality management and scientific research. Julia is currently working at AvenCell as the Director of Quality GMP/GLP. Prior to joining AvenCell, they were the Head of Quality GLP/GMP at the same company. Before that, they worked at GEMoaB GmbH in quality management. Julia also has experience as an Associated Scientist at Cenix Bioscience and as a Master Thesis researcher at the Max Planck Institute Cell Biology & Genetics. Additionally, they completed a Diploma Thesis at Merck and an internship at the Max Planck Institute Cell Biology & Genetics.

Julia Huffziger has a diverse education history. In 2000, they completed their Laboratory Assistant program at Arzneimittelwerk Dresden, Elbion AG (BioCrea), where they specialized in in vivo experiments, Patch Clamp, Cell Culture, and Microbiology. After obtaining their laboratory assistant certification, they pursued further education at the University of Applied Sciences Dresden from 2003 to 2008. During this period, they earned a Master's degree in Biochemical Engineering. In 2014, they attended a Manager Klinische Entwicklung Pharma und Biotechnologie program and received a certificate, although the specific field of study for this program is not provided.
