Julia Riewaldt is currently the Sr. Director of Cell Manufacturing Development & Operations at AvenCell Europe GmbH, a role held since 2022. Previously, Julia served as a Research Fellow at Uppsala University in 2006, and as a Laborleiter at Cellex Patient Treatment GmbH from 2016 to 2021, following its merger and renaming to AvenCell. Julia also completed a PhD at the Center for Regenerative Therapies Dresden, where they later held a postdoctoral position, and worked as a postdoc at DRK-Blutspendedienst Nord-Ost gGmbH from 2013 to 2016. Julia is currently pursuing a degree in Biology at Technische Universität Dresden.
