Katja Jersemann

Katja Jersemann is a Senior Clinical Trial Manager at AvenCell, a position held since January 2022, and also serves as a Senior Clinical Project Manager at GEMoaB GmbH since October 2021, following the company's renaming to AvenCell Europe GmbH. Previously, Katja worked at GWT from November 2011 to September 2021, where responsibilities included leading clinical project management and overseeing multi-center, national projects with European partners across Phase II-IV studies. Initial experience includes roles as a CRA and project assistant focused on monitoring and conducting multi-center Phase II and III studies, as well as serving as a lecturer in Biology at the Sächsische Bildungsgesellschaft für Umweltschutz und Chemieberufe Dresden from January 2004 to December 2011. Academic qualifications encompass a Diplom in Biology from Technische Universität Dresden and a certification as a Clinical Research Associate from Pharmaakademie Leipzig.
