Christian Barysch

Christian Barysch has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Christian is currently the Managing Partner DACH at AVENCORE, where they are a member of the global management team and heads the German branch. Christian is responsible for deploying efficient and innovative solutions to improve operational performance and address strategic challenges.

Prior to their current role, Christian founded and served as the Managing Director of procubion GmbH in 2019. Christian also worked at io-consultants as a Partner and Head of Business Unit Factory Design, where they were responsible for sales, project management, recruiting, staff development, and project execution. Christian established the Factory Design business field and set up marketing materials.

Before joining io-consultants, Christian worked at Bosch in various management roles. Christian was a Senior Platform Project Manager, Senior Manager for Manufacturing Operations & Engineering at Bosch Automotive Parts (Nanjing) Co., Ltd, and also served as a JMP Manufacturing Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for global relocation projects, production site setup, capacity planning, production control, engineering changes, prototyping, sample production, and value stream improvement.

Earlier in their career, Christian worked as a Research Engineer at Volkswagen AG, where their responsibilities are not specified.

Christian Barysch earned a Dipl.-Ing. degree (corresponding to M.Sc.E.E) in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Dresden, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. Christian then pursued further education at Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg from 2007 to 2010, obtaining a Dr.-Ing. degree in Combustion Engines with specialization in Diesel Engine Control.
