Donald Barr

Donald Barr is Professor of Pediatrics, Graduate School of Education, and Human Biology at Stanford. He is author of the book: Introduction to US Health Policy: The Organization, Financing, and Delivery of Health Care in America. He was the founder of the local Community Working Group, Inc and developed the Opportunity Center. He received the Dinkelspiel Award for Distinctive Contributions to Undergraduate Education and the Roland Prize of the Haas Center for Public Service at Stanford, Human Relations Award for Santa Clara, and Tall Tree Award from the Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce. He received his BA from Oberlin College, MD from UCSF, MS in Health Services Research and PhD in Sociology from Stanford.
