Jeff Norman

Jeff Norman has worked in a variety of roles in the IT field since 2005. Jeff began their career as a Customer Service Representative for World IT Solutions (WITSLLC). In 2006, they moved to Electronic Data Systems as a Customer Service Representative, where they provided enterprise desktop infrastructure support and performed limited LAN administration. In 2008, they joined CSC - Computer Sciences Corporation as a Systems Analyst Senior Professional, where they provided technical support, reviewed and interpreted IT security/IA requirements, and performed continuous process improvement. In 2013, they joined Tribalco as a VM/SAN Administrator, providing support during CCRI inspection and reviewing proposed system changes. In 2014, they moved to CSC as a Systems Analyst Senior Professional, where they provided incident analysis response and managed the delivery of end user assets. In 2015, they joined United States Civil Service DON as a Lead IT Specialist, where they provided oversight of contractor support and actively supported efforts to transition Naval Shipyards. Jeff then moved to United Stated Civil Service USMC as an IT Specialist, where they performed IT service management lifecycle functions. In 2018, they returned to United States Civil Service DON as a Program Management Analyst and Systems Administrator, where they participated in daily oversight of contractor support and provided oversight and coordination at remote site locations. Finally, in 2019, they joined Avening Management and Technical Services, LLC as a Triage Manager.

Jeff Norman has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus and an Associate of Arts (AA) in Japanese Studies from the same institution. Jeff has also obtained various certifications, including ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (2019), VMware Certified Associate 6 - Desktop and Mobility (VCA6-DCV) (2016), EXIN ITIL Foundation v3 (2014), Netapp Certified Implementation Engineer SAN (2013), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator 2003 (2013), Netapp Certified Data Management Administrator (2012), Microsoft Certified Professional (2007), CompTIA Network+ ce (2018), CompTIA IT Operations Specialist (2018), CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist (2018), CompTIA A+ ce (2014), CompTIA Security+ ce (2014), CompTIA Storage + (2014), Netapp Certified Implementation Engineer B&R (2014), and VMWare Certified Professional 3 (2010).
