Sylvia Nickel

Sylvia Nickel has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sylvia started their career as a Student Consultant at ACG Consulting Group in 1998 and worked there until 2001. From 2002 to 2004, they worked at Röchling Engineering Plastics as a Business Support in the Finance department. In 2004, they joined Microsoft as an EMEA & WW Retail Marketing Business Analyst and later became a Business Manager in the Business Excellence & Monetisation division, staying with the company until 2009. Sylvia then joined Roche Diagnostics as a Senior Business Analyst before transitioning to the role of Senior Controller / Project Manager Finance from 2011 to 2014. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Swiss Post Solutions as a Business Unit Controlling. In 2017, they joined Medela as the Head of Finance Operations until 2019 and then took on the role of the Head of Accounting & Controlling until 2020. Currently, Sylvia Nickel is working as the Head of Controlling and Customer Services at Aveniq.

Sylvia Nickel has an extensive education history in the field of International Management. Sylvia holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Management & Marketing from Pfeiffer University, located in North Carolina, USA. Prior to their MBA, Sylvia completed their education at the International Management School (Intermas) where they earned an Internationale Diplom Betriebswirtin (FH) degree in International Management. Sylvia began their academic journey at Southern California International College (SCIC) where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Public Administration, specializing in International Management.
