Thomas Rufer has a diverse work experience in various IT roles. Thomas started their career as an Informatiker at KJPD Zürich in 2006 and worked there until 2015. Thomas then joined the Psychiatrische Universitätsklinik Zürich as the Stv. Leiter ICT Application Manager from 2016 to 2018. Later, they worked at Logicare AG as an Application Manager from 2018 to 2020. Currently, they are employed at Aveniq as an IT Solution Engineer, starting in October 2020. Additionally, they were the Inhaber at plogic GmbH since December 2007.
Thomas Rufer attended IFA, where they pursued a degree in HF Informatiker/in, with a specialization in ICT-Systemtechnik, from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they studied at TBZ Technische Berufsschule Zürich from 1999 to 2003, earning an Eidg. Fachausweis in Information Technology (System Engineering). In addition to their formal education, Thomas Rufer obtained additional certifications, including the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN in August 2016, and the Certificate of Proficiency in English from Cambridge English Language Assessment in October 2015.
