Ian Rea

Ian Rea possesses extensive experience in project and development management, currently serving on the Advisory Board of Avenor Australia since January 2022 and as the Owner/Director of Rea Investments since January 2021. Previously, Ian held the position of Executive Chairman at CBRE Project Management from January 2019 to August 2020 after serving as the Managing Director for CBRE Asia Pacific's Project Management division from August 2014 to August 2020, where leadership of a team of 150 professionals was a key focus. Ian founded Paragon Project Management in 1991 and led a team of 50 before its acquisition by CBRE in 2014. Significant projects managed include assignments for prominent organizations such as the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, BHP Billiton, and Rio Tinto. Ian's educational background includes a Masters of Construction Law from the University of Melbourne, a Bachelor's Degree in Building from UNSW, and law diplomas from the University of Sydney.
