Dirk Applegate

Dirk Applegate is an experienced executive with a robust background in environmental planning and management. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Aventia since January 2022, Dirk previously held roles such as Senior Advisor at Bernhard Capital Partners and Executive Vice President at Woodard & Curran. Dirk has also been President and Chief Operating Officer at KC Harvey Environmental, LLC, and has extensive experience as an Executive Vice President and Colorado Regional Manager at Kleinfelder, as well as Vice President at Brown and Caldwell. Dirk’s career includes senior positions at ARCADIS and Tetra Tech EMI, with a strong track record in business leadership and operations management across multiple organizations. Dirk earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Colgate University and completed high school at Mercersburg Academy.
