Chisha Malama

Chisha Malama has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Chisha began their career at MagTeck, where they worked as a General Mining Equipment Supplier from January 2004 to December 2007. Chisha then joined the University of the Western Cape as a Developer/Database support, where they worked for three years from 2009 to 2012. Chisha then moved on to work at Obami as a Full Stack Developer for the first nine months of 2013. Chisha'smost recent position was at Avenu, where they held the role of Full Stack Developer - Team Lead since October 2013. In this role, they had various responsibilities including converting business requirements into development requirements, system architecture design, and maintaining and improving the existing tech stack to meet changing business requirements. Chisha had expertise in a wide range of technologies such as Java, J2EE, Spring Frameworks, Hibernate, Velocity, REST, Angular, Vue, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Ractive, CSS, SASS, Bootstrap, Git, GitHub Actions, AWS, AWS Code Deploy, and Microservices.
