Jay Kiley

Jay Kiley serves as the Assistant General Counsel at AvePoint since October 2018, focusing on procurement, channel sales, contract modifications, and compliance, with a strong emphasis on global commercial sales support. Kiley's legal career includes notable roles such as Attorney Advisor at the Smithsonian Institution, where expertise in licensing and complex agreements was utilized, and Legal and Compliance Counsel at NewDay USA, where direct support was provided to executive leadership in a rapidly expanding organization. Previous experience also includes corporate counsel at Continental Petroleum and regulatory compliance specialist at IBM Promontory. Kiley earned a Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from the University of Richmond School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics & Commerce from Hampden-Sydney College.
