Lon Lane

Lon Lane is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in account management and business development, particularly in the technology and defense sectors. Currently serving as Global Account Director for National Security at AvePoint Public Sector since October 2017, Lon has a proven track record in sales and contract negotiations, particularly with federal agencies such as the Department of Defense. Prior roles include Major Account Executive at Microsoft, Business Development Manager for North American Federal at K2, and various leadership positions within AFCEA DC, where responsibilities ranged from financial oversight to organizing professional development programs. Lon began a career in event design at Elegant Affairs and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder.
