Maria Phares has extensive experience in operations and people management, currently serving as the Director of People Operations for North America at AvePoint since December 2016. Phares has advanced through various roles at AvePoint, including Sr. Manager and North America Operations Manager. Prior to this, Phares worked at LeClairRyan as a paralegal and legal document clerk from May 2013 to December 2016. Additional experience includes positions at the Virginia House of Delegates as an enrolling/indexing assistant and as an intern for the U.S. House of Representatives under House Majority Leader Eric Cantor.
