Phil Neilson

Phil Neilson's work experience includes various roles in the healthcare and social care industry. Phil is currently a Trustee at Caring Connections starting from 2023. Before that, they founded AVERio in 2022, a company that provides transformation patient data to improve healthcare pathways and condition management. Phil also served as the Head of Emerging Technology and Continuous Improvement at Barnardo's from 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a consultant to the social care sector at Doing It For Doris Consulting and served as an Angel Investor. Phil's previous experience also includes roles such as Head of Digital Transformation and Head of Business Improvement at City & County Healthcare Group. Phil was an Operations Change Manager at Voyage Care Ltd, where they provided specialist support for individuals with learning disabilities. Phil also held various roles at Allied Healthcare and worked as a hardware and software implementation engineer at Various Nationwide Contracts. Phil started their career as a Recruitment Manager at Cornerstone in 2007.

Phil Neilson has a solid education history in programme and project management. Phil completed the P3O® Practitioner, P3O® Foundation, and EMP Extraordinary Project Management courses in 2017. In 2015, they obtained the PRINCE2 Practitioner certification. Phil also attended John Birkbeck High School from 1991 to 1996. Furthermore, they obtained the ExtraordinaryPM Mastery Programme certification from ExtraordinaryPM in 2018.
