Shane Rovansek

Shane Rovansek has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Shane began their career as an Information Systems Intern at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in 2007. Later that year, they joined Marketplace Direct as a Help Desk/Database Technician. In 2008, they transitioned to Atlantic Broadband as a Voice/Data Specialist. In 2009, they took on the role of Vice President - Operations at Pappas Development Group. From 2010 to 2014, Shane worked at Precision Business Solutions as a Technologist / VoIP Specialist. Most recently, they have been employed at AveriStar as a Systems Engineer since 2014, where they currently hold their position.

Shane Rovansek began their education by obtaining a high school diploma from Greater Johnstown Senior High School in 2004. Shane then pursued further studies in the field of computer networking and hardware troubleshooting at ITT Technical Institute-Pittsburgh, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in 2005. Following this, they continued their education at Pennsylvania Highlands Community College, earning an Associate's Degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from 2005 to 2007.

In 2013, Shane pursued a Certificate Program in Information Security and Analysis at Pennsylvania Highlands Community College. During this time, they also obtained the certification of Information Systems Analyst from the same institution. In 2010, they acquired the Network+ certification from CompTIA, further enhancing their skills in the field.

Continuously seeking to expand their knowledge and expertise, Shane obtained the Broadworks Certified Network Engineer - Professional certification from BroadSoft in December of 2018. These educational accomplishments and certifications demonstrate Shane Rovansek's commitment to developing their skills and staying up-to-date in the field of computer science.
