David McDowell has extensive experience in risk management and public service, currently serving as the Director of Risk Management at Averitt Express since November 1996. Prior to this role, David held the position of County Commissioner in DeKalb County, TN from September 2010 to 2014. David's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Administration, as well as a Juris Doctor degree, both obtained from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
