Tom George

Tom George is an experienced transportation and logistics professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Transportation Specialist at Averitt Express since June 2014, Tom previously held positions at Saia Motor Freight as a Senior Account Manager and earlier as a Transportation Specialist. In earlier roles, Tom managed operations as a Distribution/Hub Manager at Saia Motor Freight and was a Terminal Manager at both Watkins Motor Lines and American Freightways. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Auburn University, earned in 1989.
