Omar Altamimi

Omar Altamimi is a Founder and Chief Data Scientist at Averroes.ai Inc since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Scientist at TRUMPF from 2019 to 2021. During their time at TRUMPF, they applied InfoGANs and \u00df-Variational AutoEncoders to extract Latent Features that correlate with the physical generative factors of each Sample. Omar also created a novel Neural Networks architecture that removes anomalies and noise through unsupervised learning, and utilized VGG-16 / ResNet Pretrained Models to extract style information (style transfer).

Omar Altamimi began their education journey in 2015, when they enrolled in the German Jordanian University to pursue a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. In 2018, they took a one-year exchange program at VILNIUS TECH - Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, also studying Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. In 2019, they returned to the German Jordanian University to complete their Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc. Omar then went on to take a one-year exchange program at Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences, where they studied Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. Omar completed their Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in 2021.
